Bart Kosko

Bart Kosko is the bestselling author of Fuzzy Thinking and the acknowledged leader in the controversial and cutting edge field of machine intelligence called fuzzy logic. He is a professor of electrical engineering at the University of Southern California. He holds degrees in philosophy, economics, mathematics, and electrical engineering and has chaired many international conferences on fuzzy logic and neural networks. He has written three textbooks and numerous technical journal articles on these and other scientific subjects. Dr. Kosko has won awards and scholarships for music composition and published many nonfiction and fiction articles for magazines that range from Scientific American to Buzz. He lives in Los Angeles.
